NAB Connect Fees: What Business Payments Cost
NAB Connect pricing is transaction-sensitive. A business that rarely pays externally may experience very different channel cost from a payroll-heavy organisation sending thousands of payments each month.
NabConn never asks for NAB Connect credentials
Use an official NAB-operated service for account authentication. Do not send NabConn your NAB Connect User ID, password, PIN, token code, one-time passcode, full card details or online-banking credentials.
Domestic Payment Fees
NAB currently publishes $0.25 per payment for specified Fast Payment, Domestic Payment Overnight and BPAY payments, while transfers between linked accounts are listed as free.
Payroll and Payment File Costs
Multi funds transfers used for payroll and payment files are currently published at $0.25 per payment. A 1,000-payment file therefore needs to be modelled as 1,000 transaction charges rather than one file charge.
International Payments Need More Than a Fee Check
NAB currently lists international payments with currency conversion as free at the transaction-fee line and specified no-conversion international payments at $20. A zero transaction fee does not mean zero economic cost because exchange rates and other charges can still affect the outcome.
Channel Fees Can Sit Beside Account Fees
Business account fees and NAB Connect channel fees are separate concepts. Model the transaction account, payment channel and card costs together when calculating total banking cost.
